Mid-Term Review for the TMR Network K-Theory and Algebraic Groups

According to the rules for TMR networks we will have a Mid-Term evaluation meeting, organized by Ina Kersten and Ulf Rehmann. Combined with this there will be a scientific meeting of the postdoctoral scientists and the scientists in charge of the network.

Hotel Information:

We have pre-booked hotel rooms (single) in the hotel Moevenpick for you from Feb. 29 (arrival) till March 4 (departure).

Unless you notify us otherwise, you will be able to get your room on Feb. 29 after 12.00 (noon).

The price per night is 64.42 Euro = DEM 126, including breakfast (special price, in case you contact the hotel directly, mention the booking for University Bielefeld for the given dates). You will have to pay your bill yourself upon departure at the hotel. (Please note that, for reimbursement of your travel and subsistence expenses, you should contact your local coordinator. If there is any problem, please contact Ulf Rehmann.)

The hotel is conveniently situated at Bielefeld's train station (you will see it immediately when leaving the station: 1/2 min walk across the street). From there you will have a bus/tram going to the University:

  1. Bus No. 57 or 157, goes directly to the University, starts 20 and 50 min. after the hour, takes 17 min.
  2. Tram (Stadtbahn) No. 1, direction "Bielefeld-Senne", starts 07, 27, 37, 57 min. after the hour; change at Jahnplatz to Bus No. 21 or 22, direction "Bielefeld-Grossdornberg", takes 18 min.
