The program will include plenary talks (morning) and talks at the following sections (afternoon):
1. Groups
2. Rings, modules and the theory of representations
3. Semi-groups, near-rings and universal algebras
4. Topological algebra
5. Algebraic geometry
6. Computer algebra and applied aspects of algebra.
These sections will be under the overall responsibility of their councils
as
has already become the custom with the Algebraic Conferences. Plenary
talks
are supposed to be of review nature and Section ones will be devoted to
the
problems of modern algebra.
The Abstracts of the accepted talks will be published before the
Conference.
Problems of teaching Algebra and related topics at the Universities will
be
discussed at the Final Plenary Meeting.
The official languages of the Conference are Ukrainian, Russian and
English.

Those willing to participate in the Conference are asked to submit
application form
(see below) and abstract of talk not exceeding 3 pages (2 hard copies or
LaTeX-file).
The deadline for submission of applications and abstracts is March 31,
2001.
Invitations to the Conference will be sent by the Conference Committee
together with the notification of acceptance of talks.
Registration fee will be around $ 20.
