A WORKSHOP on "K-theory and algebraic cycles" has been organized in the framework of the National Research Project "Algebraic geometry", financed by MURST (the Italian Ministry of Scientific Research) and of the European Project TMR Network ERB FMRX CT-97-0107 "K-Theory and Algebraic groups".

The workshop will be held at the Department of Mathematics in BOLOGNA (Italy) in the days February 7,8,9. 2002

The organizing Committee is : M. Manaresi (Bologna), C. Pedrini (Genova), G. Vezzosi (Bologna), A. Vistoli (Bologna).

There will be 3 series of lectures (2 lectures each) and some communications on such topics as : A^1-homotopy, Motives and motivic cohomology, equivariant K-theory, recent developments in the theory of algebraic cycles.
